Description
The VULKAN Modula AM 45/300 KM Effect consists of 2 HR 20 Effect manifold fin regulators according to ISO 7291, 1 double non-return valve, 1 main shut-off valve, 2 normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and 2 contact gauges according to DIN EN 837-1 with Reed switch, mounted on a stainless steel base plate. Catalog data specify 300 bar inlet pressure, 20 bar outlet pressure and up to 170 Nm³/h flow.
The KM and KHM architecture adds normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and Reed-switch contact gauges. This creates defined actuation points and signal points that can be integrated into PLC logic, HMI visualization, remote alarm chains and plant monitoring. The result is not decorative automation language but a practical gas-supply node that fits connected production environments and Industry 4.0-oriented plant architecture.
The correct positioning here is direct: this model combines the throughput expected from a central gas manifold with the signal structure expected in automated plants. It is designed for controlled switching, remote visibility and integration into modern factory logic rather than isolated stand-alone operation.
Key Advantages
- Combines 170 Nm³/h capacity with electronically assisted switching control.
- 24 V AC solenoid valves and Reed-switch gauges suit PLC and alarm integration.
- Higher operational visibility supports remote status monitoring.
- Strong fit for automated pressure reduction stations and modern process plants.
- A credible Industry 4.0-ready manifold platform rather than a purely passive gas station.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This manifold can be positioned for food-gas projects when it is ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
