AM 35/300 K Effect Automatic Changeover Manifold

The VULKAN Modula AM 35/300 K Effect is a modular automatic changeover manifold for oxygen and technical gases except acetylene. It combines two H 20 Effect manifold regulators, an AD 35 in-line regulator and an automatic changeover block to maintain uninterrupted gas supply up to 10 bar outlet pressure.

Description

The VULKAN Modula AM 35/300 K Effect is built for cylinder banks and bundle stations that cannot tolerate supply interruption during bottle change. The assembly consists of 2 manifold regulators H 20 Effect according to ISO 7291, 1 AD 35 in-line regulator, 1 automatic changeover block, 1 main shut-off valve and optional contact gauges according to DIN EN 837-1, all mounted on a stainless steel base plate. With 300 bar inlet pressure, 0–10 bar outlet pressure and up to 50 Nm³/h flow, it is a compact but serious solution for central gas supply, laboratory manifolds, welding support gas lines and engineered food-gas projects when specified correctly.

Unlike semi-automatic systems, which still leave part of the switching cycle dependent on operator action, the Modula automatic manifold platform is designed to switch from the depleted side to the full side automatically. That reduces intervention points, lowers the risk of timing errors during cylinder replacement and supports more stable process continuity in real production.

Commercially, this model sits where many plants need a real upgrade from manual or semi-automatic manifold logic without moving into a more complex electronically assisted architecture. It delivers continuity, modular expansion potential and a clean technical specification for oxygen, nitrogen, argon, CO₂, helium, hydrogen and compressed air service.

Key Advantages

  • Automatic pneumatic changeover reduces operator dependence during cylinder-bank depletion.
  • Modular add-on design supports staged expansion and project-specific configuration.
  • Includes AD 35 in-line regulator for stable low-pressure downstream supply.
  • Built around H 20 Effect manifold regulators according to ISO 7291.
  • Optional contact gauges according to DIN EN 837-1 improve status visibility.

Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning

This manifold can be positioned for food-gas projects when it is ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
