Description
The VULKAN Modula AM 40/300 KM Effect includes 2 H 40 Effect manifold regulators according to ISO 7291, 1 double non-return valve, 1 main shut-off valve, 2 normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and 2 contact gauges according to DIN EN 837-1 with Reed switch, all mounted on a stainless steel base plate. The catalog specifies 300 bar inlet pressure, 40 bar outlet pressure and up to 120 Nm³/h flow. For oxygen service, the catalog notes a 25 bar working pressure limit.
The KM and KHM architecture adds normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and Reed-switch contact gauges. This creates defined actuation points and signal points that can be integrated into PLC logic, HMI visualization, remote alarm chains and plant monitoring. The result is not decorative automation language but a practical gas-supply node that fits connected production environments and Industry 4.0-oriented plant architecture.
This is not legacy manifold hardware with an electrical accessory bolted on. It is a controlled switching platform for higher-pressure process gas systems, suitable for modern plant logic where status visibility and integration are commercially valuable.
Key Advantages
- 40 bar outlet class supports higher-pressure automated gas supply.
- Solenoid valves and Reed-switch gauges create a real integration interface for PLC control.
- Double non-return valve strengthens directional process control.
- Suitable for inert gases and fuel gases except acetylene.
- Clear Industry 4.0-ready positioning for connected factory environments.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This manifold can be positioned for food-gas projects when it is ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
