AM 35/300 H Effect Automatic Changeover Manifold

The VULKAN Modula AM 35/300 H Effect is a modular automatic changeover manifold with factory pre-adjusted 20 bar outlet pressure. It is designed for oxygen and technical gases except acetylene and is supplied without an in-line regulator.

Description

The VULKAN Modula AM 35/300 H Effect is the fixed-pressure automatic version of the AM 35 platform for users who need a defined downstream pressure and reliable source switching without constant operator handling. The system includes 2 H 20 Effect manifold regulators according to ISO 7291, 1 automatic changeover block, 1 main shut-off valve and optional contact gauges according to DIN EN 837-1, all mounted on a stainless steel base plate. Catalog data specify 300 bar inlet pressure, 20 bar outlet pressure and up to 75 Nm³/h flow.

Unlike semi-automatic systems, which still leave part of the switching cycle dependent on operator action, the Modula automatic manifold platform is designed to switch from the depleted side to the full side automatically. That reduces intervention points, lowers the risk of timing errors during cylinder replacement and supports more stable process continuity in real production.

This product is commercially attractive where the plant needs more autonomy than a semi-automatic station but prefers to keep the manifold architecture mechanically clean and straightforward. It suits compact central gas supply stations, bundle manifolds and process gas lines where continuity and stable outlet pressure matter more than manual flexibility.

Key Advantages

  • Factory pre-adjusted 20 bar outlet pressure simplifies installation logic.
  • Automatic pneumatic switching reduces intervention during cylinder replacement.
  • Compact manifold architecture without in-line regulator for cleaner layout.
  • Based on H 20 Effect regulators according to ISO 7291.
  • Optional DIN EN 837-1 contact gauges support clearer operational status.

Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning

This manifold can be positioned for food-gas projects when it is ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
