Description
The Vulkan LabLine F 10/300 Effect is the high-purity version of the F 10/300 Effect cylinder pressure regulator, designed for laboratory, analytical and laser gas applications where material cleanliness is specified alongside pressure accuracy. The integrated Vulkan Effect high-pressure compensation maintains constant outlet pressure as the cylinder depletes — preventing the working pressure rise and excess gas consumption that occur in uncompensated regulators, particularly with 300 bar cylinders.
The Vulkan Effect is an integrated high-pressure compensation system. Without it, outlet pressure rises as cylinder pressure drops, increasing gas consumption by more than 50% with 300 bar cylinders. With the Effect, outlet pressure remains constant throughout the working cycle, delivering stable process conditions and measurable gas savings.
All Vulkan LabLine regulators are manufactured from brass and chrome-plated after a special vibratory finishing cleaning process, reducing surface fat content to below 100 mg/m². The stainless steel diaphragm and clamp ring 6 mm outlet connection maintain a low-contamination wetted path suitable for high-purity gas grades up to 5.0. The leakage rate of 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s confirms helium-leak-proof construction. The LabLine range is designed and manufactured to DIN, EN and ISO standards and satisfies the requirements of the PED and DGUV.
The LabLine F 10/300 Effect covers the same broad gas range as the standard F 10/300 Effect — oxygen, acetylene, CO₂/argon, helium, nitrogen, hydrogen, forming gas, compressed air, testing gas, nitrous oxide and methane — in a chrome-plated, high-purity execution ready for laboratory and high-grade analytical installations.
Key Advantages
- Chrome-plated brass body with vibratory finishing — surface fat content below 100 mg/m².
- Stainless steel diaphragm for high-purity gas service up to grade 5.0.
- Clamp ring 6 mm outlet for clean laboratory and laser gas piping integration.
- Vulkan Effect: constant 0–10 bar outlet pressure throughout the cylinder working cycle.
- Adiabatic compression tested for oxygen and acetylene; acc. to ISO 2503.
- Available for 200 bar and 300 bar inlet cylinders.
- Helium-leak-proof with 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s; designed to DIN, EN and ISO standards.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This regulator can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
