Description
The Vulkan LabLine F 10/2 300 LG Effect is the laser gas version of the LabLine double-stage regulator, combining the highest available pressure stability — two-stage reduction plus Vulkan Effect compensation — with the purge valve and outlet shut-off valve required for clean gas changeover in laser systems. The purge valve allows the downstream gas path to be cleared of atmospheric contamination before reconnection after cylinder replacement, protecting beam quality, nozzle life and cutting performance.
The double-stage design reduces outlet pressure variation to the minimum achievable in a cylinder regulator, providing the consistent downstream pressure that precision laser processes require. The Vulkan Effect keeps the working pressure constant as the cylinder depletes, eliminating the pressure drift that would otherwise affect laser process stability towards the end of the cylinder.
All Vulkan LabLine regulators are manufactured from brass and chrome-plated after a special vibratory finishing cleaning process, reducing surface fat content to below 100 mg/m². The stainless steel diaphragm and clamp ring 6 mm outlet connection maintain a low-contamination wetted path suitable for high-purity gas grades up to 5.0. The leakage rate of 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s confirms helium-leak-proof construction. The LabLine range is designed and manufactured to DIN, EN and ISO standards and satisfies the requirements of the PED and DGUV.
Key Advantages
- Double-stage design: maximum outlet pressure stability for precision laser gas applications.
- Integrated purge valve — clean gas changeover without atmospheric contamination of the laser gas path.
- Shut-off valve in outlet for safe isolation and depressurisation.
- Chrome-plated brass body with vibratory finishing — surface fat content below 100 mg/m².
- Stainless steel diaphragm for high-purity laser gas service up to grade 5.0.
- Vulkan Effect: constant outlet pressure as the cylinder depletes.
- Adiabatic compression tested; acc. to ISO 2503.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This regulator can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
