Description
The VULKAN Modula AM 35/300 KM Effect combines 2 H 20 Effect manifold regulators according to ISO 7291, 1 AD 35 in-line regulator, 1 double non-return valve, 1 main shut-off valve, 2 normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and 2 contact gauges according to DIN EN 837-1 with Reed switch, all mounted on a stainless steel base plate. Catalog data specify 300 bar inlet pressure, 0–10 bar outlet pressure and up to 50 Nm³/h flow. The catalog also states clearly that KM versions are intended for more precise switching processes and lower difference pressures between left and right side.
The KM and KHM architecture adds normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and Reed-switch contact gauges. This creates defined actuation points and signal points that can be integrated into PLC logic, HMI visualization, remote alarm chains and plant monitoring. The result is not decorative automation language but a practical gas-supply node that fits connected production environments and Industry 4.0-oriented plant architecture.
This is where the manifold stops being only a pressure device and becomes an automation component. It is the correct product for plants that want controlled switching, signal visibility and a cleaner path toward digitally managed gas supply.
Key Advantages
- 24 V AC solenoid valves support controlled switching instead of purely passive changeover.
- Reed-switch contact gauges create usable signal outputs for alarms and control logic.
- Double non-return valve improves directional control within the changeover architecture.
- Designed for more precise switching and lower pressure differential between supply sides.
- Strong fit for PLC, HMI, remote alarm and Industry 4.0-oriented plant integration.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This manifold can be positioned for food-gas projects when it is ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
