Description
The VULKAN Modula AM 55/300 KM Effect includes 2 HR 40 Effect manifold fin regulators according to ISO 7291, 1 double non-return valve, 1 main shut-off valve, 2 normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and 2 contact gauges according to DIN EN 837-1 with Reed switch, all mounted on a stainless steel base plate. The catalog specifies 300 bar inlet pressure, 40 bar outlet pressure and up to 250 Nm³/h flow. For oxygen service, the listed limit is max. 25 bar working pressure and the diaphragm execution is given as VA for O2.
The KM and KHM architecture adds normally closed 24 V AC solenoid valves and Reed-switch contact gauges. This creates defined actuation points and signal points that can be integrated into PLC logic, HMI visualization, remote alarm chains and plant monitoring. The result is not decorative automation language but a practical gas-supply node that fits connected production environments and Industry 4.0-oriented plant architecture.
This product should be positioned as the top-end answer for automated gas supply in heavy industrial conditions. High flow alone is not enough anymore. Plants need switching precision, remote status transparency and clean integration into control architecture. AM 55/300 KM delivers the physical performance of a serious manifold and the signal-ready structure expected from digitally managed production environments.
Key Advantages
- Top-end electronically assisted capacity with up to 250 Nm³/h at 40 bar.
- Signal-ready architecture supports PLC, HMI and remote monitoring integration.
- Solenoid valves enable controlled switching rather than purely passive response.
- Reed-switch gauges provide usable plant signals for alarm and visualization logic.
- Strong Industry 4.0-ready positioning for connected production sites.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This manifold can be positioned for food-gas projects when it is ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
