Description
The VULKAN LabLine L10/2 LL is a double-stage in-line pipeline regulator from the high-purity LabLine range. The two-stage design reduces inlet pressure to working pressure in two controlled steps, delivering tighter outlet pressure stability than single-stage regulators — an important factor in analytical instrumentation, laser gas delivery and precision laboratory processes where even small pressure fluctuations affect results. The chrome-plated brass body passes through a vibratory finishing cleaning process that reduces surface fat content below 100 mg/m², supporting gas grades up to 5.0.
The L10/2 LL is rated for 20 bar inlet pressure and provides 0–10 bar adjustable outlet pressure with up to 30 Nm³/h flow. The stainless steel diaphragm and clamp ring 8 mm connections on both inlet and outlet minimize contamination across the wetted path. The leakage rate of 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s confirms helium-leak-proof construction. Safety gauges are to ISO 5171.
The LabLine range is manufactured to current DIN, EN and ISO standards and meets the requirements of the PED and DGUV rules. This provides a documented compliance basis for laboratory gas infrastructure where regulator specification, material traceability and installation standards form part of the qualification and validation process.
The L10/2 LL integrates directly with Vulkan LabLine Alu-Line 3/8 tapping point bars and other LabLine pipeline components, supporting complete high-purity gas distribution networks from the central manifold to individual laboratory workstations.
Key Advantages
- Double-stage pressure reduction delivers tighter outlet pressure stability than single-stage designs.
- Chrome-plated brass body with vibratory finishing for surface fat content below 100 mg/m².
- Stainless steel diaphragm for high-purity gas service up to grade 5.0.
- Clamp ring 8 mm connections on both sides for clean, low-contamination piping integration.
- Helium-leak-proof with leakage rate of 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s; safety gauges to ISO 5171.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This regulator can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
