Description
The VULKAN LabLine L20 LL is a single-stage in-line pipeline pressure regulator from the LabLine high-purity range. It is designed for laboratory and laser gas distribution circuits where the downstream equipment requires wider pressure adjustment headroom — covering the full 0–20 bar outlet range. The chrome-plated brass body is cleaned by vibratory finishing to below 100 mg/m² surface fat content, and the stainless steel diaphragm and clamp ring 8 mm connections on both inlet and outlet qualify it for high-purity gas grades up to 5.0.
The L20 LL operates from a 20 bar inlet and provides adjustable outlet pressure across the full working range of the regulator. Safety gauges are to ISO 5171. The leakage rate of 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s confirms helium-leak-proof construction. The single-stage design delivers a compact, lightweight solution for laboratory pipeline branch circuits, tapping point feeds and distribution headers where the wider pressure range is operationally required.
The LabLine range is manufactured to DIN, EN and ISO standards and satisfies PED and DGUV requirements. This gives the L20 LL a documented compliance basis for laboratory gas infrastructure projects where regulator specification and material traceability are part of the installation standard or validation protocol.
The L20 LL connects directly to Vulkan LabLine Alu-Line 3/8 tapping point bars and compatible LabLine tapping point regulators, enabling integrated laboratory gas distribution networks across a consistent high-purity component platform.
Key Advantages
- Wide 0–20 bar outlet pressure range covers a broader downstream requirement base.
- Chrome-plated brass body with vibratory finishing for surface fat content below 100 mg/m².
- Stainless steel diaphragm for high-purity gas service up to grade 5.0.
- Clamp ring 8 mm connections on both sides for clean laboratory piping integration.
- Helium-leak-proof; safety gauges to ISO 5171; manufactured to DIN, EN and ISO standards.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This regulator can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
