Description
The VULKAN LabLine L270 LL is a high-pressure in-line pipeline pressure regulator from the LabLine series, designed for laboratory and laser gas installations that operate at working pressures above the standard laboratory range. Its application base includes high-pressure analytical instrument feeds, research installations and laser assist gas systems where downstream pressure requirements are at the upper end of the LabLine working spectrum. The chrome-plated brass body is cleaned by vibratory finishing to below 100 mg/m² surface fat content, qualifying it for high-purity gas grades up to 5.0.
The stainless steel diaphragm provides both the high-purity material compatibility and the mechanical robustness required across an extended pressure range. Clamp ring 8 mm connections on both inlet and outlet minimize contamination in the wetted path. Safety gauges are to ISO 5171. The leakage rate of 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s confirms helium-leak-proof construction throughout the working pressure envelope.
The LabLine range is manufactured to DIN, EN and ISO standards and satisfies the requirements of the PED and DGUV. The L270 LL is a traceable, standards-compliant component for laboratory and industrial gas infrastructure projects where the combination of high working pressure and documented high-purity material specification is a procurement requirement.
The L270 LL is part of the Vulkan LabLine system architecture and integrates with LabLine in-line regulators, tapping point regulators and Alu-Line 3/8 distribution bars, enabling complete documented high-purity gas networks for laboratory, analytical and laser gas environments.
Key Advantages
- High working pressure capability for demanding laboratory, research and laser gas applications.
- Chrome-plated brass body with vibratory finishing for surface fat content below 100 mg/m².
- Stainless steel diaphragm for oxygen-compatible and high-purity gas service up to grade 5.0.
- Clamp ring 8 mm connections for clean laboratory piping integration.
- Helium-leak-proof construction with 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s; safety gauges to ISO 5171.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This regulator can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
