Description
The VULKAN LabLine L60 LL is a single-stage in-line pipeline pressure regulator from the LabLine high-purity range, designed for laboratory and laser gas circuits where outlet pressure requirements extend beyond the standard 20–40 bar range. Applications include high-pressure analytical instrument feeds, laser assist gas systems and specialty process lines that require elevated downstream pressure while maintaining gas purity at grade 5.0 or above. The chrome-plated brass body is processed with vibratory finishing to below 100 mg/m² surface fat content.
The stainless steel diaphragm and clamp ring 8 mm connections on both inlet and outlet maintain a low-contamination wetted path across the pressure range. Safety gauges are to ISO 5171. The leakage rate of 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s confirms helium-leak-proof construction. The stainless steel diaphragm execution is particularly relevant for oxygen service within the extended pressure range.
The LabLine range is designed and manufactured to DIN, EN and ISO standards and meets the requirements of the PED and DGUV. The L60 LL is a documented, compliant component for laboratory gas infrastructure projects that specify both elevated pressure capability and high-purity material standards in the same installation.
The L60 LL fits into the Vulkan LabLine system architecture alongside other LabLine in-line regulators, tapping point regulators and Alu-Line 3/8 distribution bars, providing consistent product family integration across complex laboratory and laser gas piping networks.
Key Advantages
- Extended outlet pressure range up to 60 bar for high-pressure laboratory and laser gas circuits.
- Chrome-plated brass body with vibratory finishing for surface fat content below 100 mg/m².
- Stainless steel diaphragm for oxygen-compatible and high-purity gas service up to grade 5.0.
- Clamp ring 8 mm connections on both sides for clean laboratory piping integration.
- Helium-leak-proof construction with 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s; safety gauges to ISO 5171.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This regulator can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
