Vulkan Modula Vareo BS 75 (Base station, 300 bar)

The Vulkan Modula Vareo BS 75 is a modular base station for 300 bar cylinder and bundle manifold systems, delivering 0–60 bar adjustable outlet pressure up to 140 Nm³/h. Based on the BS 60 platform with an H 60 Effect manifold regulator, it covers high-pressure central gas supply applications for oxygen and technical gases except acetylene.

Description

The Vulkan Modula Vareo BS 75 is the 60 bar variant of the Modula Vareo base station series, equipped with an H 60 Effect manifold regulator according to ISO 7291. It is designed for central gas supply systems that operate at elevated outlet pressures — including high-pressure process gas lines, specialty laser assist gas circuits and industrial distribution networks where 40 bar is insufficient. The H 60 Effect regulator includes the Vulkan high-pressure compensation feature for consistent outlet pressure as the cylinder depletes, with stainless steel diaphragm for oxygen service.

The Modula Vareo distributing block provides a compact integration of shut-off valves, non-return valves and sintered filters in a single body, reducing the number of connection points and simplifying maintenance compared to traditional rail-based systems. The entire assembly is completed on a stainless steel base plate with a contact gauge and main shut-off valve.

The BS 75 is part of the modular Vareo add-on platform and can be expanded at any time by connecting additional manifold stations VS, allowing the system to grow from a 2-cylinder or 2-bundle configuration to larger banks without replacing the base station. Optional purge valves are available at each inlet.

The BS 75 is available with an optional incorporated gas pre-heater GPH 200 or GPH 400, which is strongly recommended for high-flow, high-pressure applications where Joule-Thomson cooling during decompression could cause frosting or condensation issues in the downstream circuit.

Key Advantages

  • H 60 Effect regulator with high-pressure compensation for stable outlet pressure up to 60 bar.
  • Stainless steel diaphragm execution for oxygen-compatible high-pressure service.
  • Compact Vareo block integrates shut-off valves, non-return valves and sintered filters.
  • Modular add-on system: expandable without replacing the base unit.
  • 60 bar outlet class covers high-pressure process gas and specialty laser assist gas installations.
  • Optional gas pre-heater GPH 200 or GPH 400 for high-flow and high-pressure configurations.
  • Complete on stainless steel base plate; leakage rate 1 × 10⁻⁶ mbar l/s.

Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning

This base station can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
