Description
The Vulkan Modula Vareo BS 100 is the high-flow, higher-pressure variant of the Modula Vareo base station series, equipped with an HR 40 Effect manifold fin regulator according to ISO 7291. With up to 290 Nm³/h at 40 bar, the BS 100 is designed for central gas supply systems serving heavy industrial users, laser cutting installations with high assist gas demand, large cylinder banks feeding multiple simultaneous process points, and other high-throughput applications where both elevated pressure and high flow rate must be delivered from a single compact station.
The HR 40 Effect fin regulator provides the Vulkan high-pressure compensation feature for consistent outlet pressure throughout the cylinder working cycle, and the stainless steel diaphragm execution for oxygen service ensures material compatibility across all gas types. The fin design improves thermal performance under sustained high-flow operation, reducing the cooling effect of Joule-Thomson decompression and making the station suitable for continuous duty.
The Modula Vareo distributing block integrates shut-off valves, non-return valves and sintered filters in a compact single body, reducing installation complexity and maintenance points. The system mounts on a stainless steel base plate and is expandable at any time with additional manifold stations VS. The outlet pressure working range of 15–40 bar is adjustable within this window to match the downstream system requirement.
The BS 100 is available with an optional gas pre-heater GPH 200 or GPH 400, which is strongly recommended for high continuous flow duty at 40 bar where thermal management of the decompression process is operationally important.
Key Advantages
- HR 40 Effect fin regulator delivers up to 290 Nm³/h at 40 bar for heavy industrial flow duties.
- Stainless steel diaphragm execution for oxygen-compatible high-pressure, high-flow service.
- High-pressure compensation maintains stable outlet pressure across the 15–40 bar working range.
- Fin regulator design improves thermal performance under sustained high-flow operation.
- Compact Vareo distributing block integrates all valve and filter functions in one body.
- Modular add-on platform: expandable with manifold stations VS without replacing the base unit.
- Optional gas pre-heater GPH 200 or GPH 400 for high-flow continuous duty.
Food-Gas / Compliance Positioning
This base station can be positioned for food-gas projects when ordered with the appropriate wetted materials, elastomers, cleanliness level and documentation package. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 defines the basic requirement that materials in contact with food must not transfer substances in quantities that could endanger health or unacceptably change the composition or organoleptic properties of food. Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 adds GMP requirements for controlled manufacturing processes. In Germany, LFGB is part of the legal framework used for control of food-contact materials and articles.
